Residential Facilities
Residential Services are those which provide the consumer with an
environment or group home in which to live day-to-day. With this more intensive
form of care, the consumer can become capable of achieving greater development
of new coping skills as they deal with the stressors of life. Consumers
placed in residential care are generally those who have more severe or
chronic mental disability and/or who have limited social supports
in
their previous living circumstances. All of our residential facilities,
such as Lytle Group Home pictured left, utilize
24-hour supervision and teaching approaches aimed at helping the consumer
develop coping and life-survival abilities while at the same time assisting
them in achieving specific treatment goals which have been developed with
them by the treatment staff. Medication evaluations by our medical consultants
or psychiatrist, individual and group therapy, and self-help programing
are among the most common treatment experieces for consumers in our residential
facilities.
Our Residential programs include Lytle Group Home and Villa Elizabeth
(both
located in
Greenville and designed for chronically mentally ill), Robertson Center
(located in Greenville and designed for mentally retarded adults) and Nunan
Center (located in Greenville and designed for chemically dependent adults),
