Lynda Lavers was second of the original clinical staff members, now serving as one of the agencies Licensed Clincal Social Workers for going on 23 years. She presently is the Director of Children and Youth Services. She conducts group therapy with children and adolescents from ages 8 to 17 years. She also serves as an individual therapist for consumers of DCMHS. Within the past several years, she has taken on the responbsiblitites of coordinating and conducting programs for consumers who have been previously treated at the Mississippi State Hospital, and also conducts a bi-monthly socialization group for the elderly. She received her Master's degree from LSU having completed her Bachelor's degree at University of Mississippi.
